In my line of work, I have to be able to nurture families to step away from the idea of curated photography that is promoted heavily on social media. I have to be able to show them the memories they will miss later, and be vulnerable enough to let me capture them in a raw and real way. On top of that, family films are not a term many people are googling for. The Marketing side of this business is like the Wild West, but I have loved it and achieved much success! After working together for a local builder for several years, we found that we made a great team. We’ve always been able to bounce ideas off each other and combine our strengths to complete projects. Even after no longer working for the original builder, we would often talk about the details we loved while building projects for clients. One day we finally came to the realization that we could get our own contractor’s license and provide clients with the unique level of detail we’d become known for.
