Meet Ahmed Elsalakawy | Professional wrestler & Professional Wrestling coach

We had the good fortune of connecting with Ahmed Elsalakawy and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Ahmed, how has your background shaped the person you are today?
I grew up in Port Said, Egypt. I grew up involved in a a lot of sports so it helped a lot with discipline and respect which I feel helped a lot In pro wrestling and being able to be coachable and where I’m from we are kinda known for liking to joking around and we don’t really take ourselves seriously which also helped me in wrestling were you take your work and business seriously but not yourself too serious
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I really think of pro wrestling as an artistic sport where you get to tell stories your way as long as you connect to the crowd.
What makes me different I believe it’s the way I tell that story like when you think I’m going right I go up and when you think ima go up I go left I’m always changing the roads to get to the same destination.I work a old school pick a body part style but I like to modify stuff and play around to truly keep the crowd invested and surprised without losing the storytelling which is the most important part
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
