We had the good fortune of connecting with Taneisha Horton and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Taneisha, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
From just a little girl I always loved being in front or behind the camera so I never was a stranger to it. It wasn’t until 2018 when I had my last child, I felt drawn to turn photography into ministry.

At the time, my walk with GOD was new and fresh but I knew that he was calling me to use my talents to share the gospel and his love through what I loved which was photography. I already had the spirit of helping , uplifting and encouraging others but the feeling I get when I can capture someone at their happiest moments really warms my heart and gives me purpose for others to see themselves how GOD sees us!

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I offer photography that specializes in Weddings, Engagements, Family, & Branding . My style of photography is fun but yet intimate. When I first began photography it was hard to find my nitche or my specialty because I would capture just about anything. But God told me one day, only capture love & happiness! I begin taking local photography classes, asking friends if I could take their pictures or even offering free shoots just to get experience. After almost 5 years now, I am great at what I do! From Candid shoots to posed portraits for newlyweds I can provide a great portrait and experience!

I aim to for my clients to see my work and hire me because they know I will capture the smallest moments and make them beautiful. I want them to know that I’m passionate about my craft and it shows through how I service others.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Oh now I can take us out for a night of fun! I would recommend Porch & pollard for a good nice meal then head downtown Memphis for rooftop vibes at Tiger & Peacock for drinks and views! We can listen to good music and dance the night away!

Without a doubt, my LORD & SAVIOR is the reason for it all! My success, clients & my passion I owe it all to him!

My loving husband Brian is my anchor! He pushes me, believes in me & supports me in ways I am most thankful for! I’m truly blessed to have a great partner by my side to help me spread Gods love through photography.

I’d also love to shoutout my Mom, Dad, sisters & friends! Because of them believing in me, spreading the word of my business and helping me when I need , I am able to soar in business! I’m foreverrr grateful!
