Hi Ëli, what role has risk played in your life or career?
I’ll say unfortunately I’ve been a risk taker my whole life. It’s been the biggest downfall & blessing for me in every situation. I’m not scared to fail & try something new that sparked in my mind. It’s either you end right back where you were before starting or see the ultimate outcome/benefit from it. Even when I had something to lose I bet on myself because I had no other choice.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
In regards to 1st Amendment Podcast, that became successful within a week’s span after that realization I stated. It was the most random & gratifying experience in my life. I went from 50 followers to 1,000+ and I had a hard time understanding what connected with the audiences so fast. Yes, audience was plural. My demographic of people range from 18-50 all races. Each social media platform under the podcast has one main group that enjoy it more, but it’s all the same content posted. So that’s when algorithm started to make sense.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I hate LA so that would never be an option even though it’s closest, unless it was the Observatory or hike 😹 so anywhere in Orange County, California is the destination. Some spots feel more like home like Anaheim & Buena Park because it’s closer to LA County but once you venture out it’s boujee & nice scenery. At almost 27, surrounding myself around drama & putting myself into positions where good never comes isn’t wise. Although I’ll gatekeep most spots I enjoy around the area, I’ll give 2, one for dates & one for fun.
Creek Rd & Alton Prkwy (Irvine (OC) – lakefront with seating & stores/restaurants nearby)
Craig Regional Park ($5 entry – huge pond with ducks and acres of grass/peaceful)

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I’d like to shoutout my friends & family for believing in the podcast when I first started it along with the merch I made myself. Also, my former co-host Damari who wanted to be apart of the journey. However, the success of the business did come from me & nobody else. I went without posting content for almost a year for rebranding reasons but was stuck in what direction I wanted to go & one day finally had a realization sitting on the couch. . .
