We had the good fortune of connecting with Daniel Page and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Daniel, is your business focused on helping the community? If so, how?
I would like to think that my work provides a temporary “escape” for those who just need a break from the “daily grind”. If my work helps you forget the world around you for a short time, then to me, that is a job well done. And to inspire a few kids along the way, would be an added bonus.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Showcasing your Artwork to the world can be a bit nerve racking. Although, it can also be very rewarding as well. I quit trying to appeal to the masses long ago, and just do what I enjoy. It seems to work best for me. “A Chill In The Air” was my first creator owned book that I published this year. It was refreshing since I had the freedom to experiment. It’s a different kind of book that I enjoyed venturing out side of the box with. I’ve always worked on other clients’ projects (which don’t get me wrong), are very fun too! But with this book came a higher sense of satisfaction and excitement. It wasn’t easy, but I don’t mind a challenge,..especially one without a deadline! If I had to give advice to any young artists out there, it would be to find a niche and stick with it. And to also keep in mind, that sometimes the hard way is the best way.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
The Frist Art Museum, The Nashville Symphony, and Geodis Park.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would like to dedicate my most recent work to my brother (Curtis Page), for allowing me to portray him as a character in “A Chill In The Air”. And always being so supportive over the years.
