We had the good fortune of connecting with Charity Hill and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Charity, any advice for those thinking about whether to keep going or to give up?
Overcoming Doubt in Pursuit of Success Sometimes, I feel like throwing in the towel or become overwhelmed by the thought of whether I’m on the right track. However, meeting strangers in public who recognize my face, name or brand always reminds me to keep pushing forward. It’s a fantastic feeling that erases all doubts and encourages me to stay the course.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
My current career path has not been an easy one. What started as a hobby became a full time operation. I left my job 2 years ago and been on this journey ever since. And I’m still learning and facing challenges along the way.

Lesson I’ve learned so far: Embrace the highs and lows but don’t give up. There is always room for growth.

Every caterer is different. No one creates any food dish the same. I love creating hot dishes but Charcuterie is my new found love. I love the endless possibilities. To me its an art and there is a particular eye for it. Yes Charcuterie has been in existence for years but nothing stays the same forever. I’m going to Embrace this world of Charcuterie and hope to share my creations on a larger scale.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Coming to Memphis is always a vibe. For a visitor we would check out majority local spots.

In my view the best places to check out would be anywhere in midtown or our downtown area because you can park and walk to try different restaurants, hear live music, or see the Memphis culture.

This shoutout is dedicated to my family. My family is the true definition of support. Whether they are stepping in to assist or referring myself to others I wouldn’t be where I am today without them.
