Meet ANJXLXE | ANJXLXE | Singer-Songwriter, Multidisciplinary Creative

We had the good fortune of connecting with ANJXLXE and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi ANJXLXE, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
I’m a hybrid of art and entrepreneurship, with a passion for music, marketing, content creation, and creative direction. My journey in the industry has taken me from being a social media strategist for an entertainment company to serving as an executive assistant and head of communications in a corporate law firm, as well as delving into music marketing and communications within a label. Additionally, I have released projects as an independent singer-songwriter. These experiences have provided me with a well-rounded understanding of various facets of the industry, and I continue to explore new horizons while sharing the insights I’ve gained and continue to acquire on this journey.
Goal Rush is a creative space dedicated to developing talent, creative ideas and artistpreneurship.
The term “Goal Rush” encapsulates the excitement and determination associated with pursuing dreams and goals. The word “rush” symbolizes the adrenaline and excitement one experiences while working passionately towards their objectives, often accompanied by a sense of urgency and a desire to swiftly achieve those goals.
By establishing a supportive community of like-minded creatives, my goal is to create a space where artists can come together to learn, collaborate, nurture their passion, and achieve their goals.
I aspire to curate live shows, organize workshops, provide mentorship, and assist in finding the right resources.
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I started singing at a very young age, and it felt natural to me, like it was ingrained in who I am. I’ve always worked diligently, reaching out to musicians and producers for collaboration. Navigating the music industry as a woman isn’t always easy. As we all know, it’s a man’s world, and sometimes (often), they see more than just a singer. Overcoming my shyness, I had to build my character.
Working on a music career presents its fair share of challenges, but I’ve always maintained a positive attitude. I’m kind of strong-willed too and when I want something, nothing can stop me lol, so when one door closes, I see it as meant to be, knowing that others will open. Not everyone will see your vision or appreciate your work, and that’s okay.
Fast forward to today, I’m excited about my upcoming project: SEAsons, where I wish to travel through the transitions with my listeners, immerse them in a universe of colorful changes, to finally arrive at shore at my favorite time: summer.
I’ve grown not only as an artist but also as a woman. I now know what I want and trust my instincts.
I’d like the world to know this about my art: I want my music to feel like a vacation. I want to make my listeners feel good about themselves. It becomes increasingly hard in the world to find pockets of joy, to allow ourselves to feel good – I want my music to become a vehicle for that much needed refuge. I want it to be soothing but also very empowering. I want to make people feel at their best. I want to bring a message of positive affirmation for my community to feel confident, sexy, and vulnerable. I want them to feel inspired to dream, and dream bigger, to follow their intuition, and keep striving to get what they wish for.
