My mother worked as an oil painter while I was growing up and my older sister went on to be an artist as well. I was always surrounded by visual art and creativity. I chose a music career because I am able to channel what’s internal, externally with the music I create. My beats are feelings I cannot put into words. Music speaks to my soul and since I can remember, music has helped my mood, my power, and it’s a huge part of who I am. There’s no job that I know of that would inspire me the way music has. Since I was little, fashion has always been something that’s completely captivated me. I’d wake up and immediately throw on a dress-up gown, little heels, necklaces, and sunglasses. It felt like stepping into my own little world where I could be whoever I wanted through what I wore. That excitement for fashion never went away as I grew up; in fact, it just got stronger.
