Meet Vita Zagorodny | Posture Alignment Therapist

We had the good fortune of connecting with Vita Zagorodny and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Vita, let’s talk legacy – what do you want yours to be?
One of the number one goals I try to achieve with each client is to create a connection, a bond, something that lasts over the entire time we work together. I try to get a smile out of each client, laughing through our sessions. Most of the clients I work with are dealing with chronic pain, have many unanswered questions about their pain, or someone who has bounced around to different modalities with no success. This creates stress and tension mentally, physically and emotionally. My job is to help find answers, eliminate the pain and create long term sustaining functional lives. This is not something I take lightly. I help people change their outlook on their lifestyles!
This is what I want my legacy to be. I want to be remembered as that person who took the time to care. Took the time to research and evaluate everything that was missed. Took the time to put the pieces back together. Took the time to listen.
Took the time to help someone change their life.
What should our readers know about your business?
When I moved back to the Chattanooga area, I knew I wanted to bring Posture Therapy and help the community. I also knew that I would have to start my own business as there were no clinics that offered a job position. it was a daunting thought, but I knew how much expertise and help I could bring to this area. I wanted to bring something different to the table, a place that will offer more than just the typical symptom treating pain relief clinics. Being a cash pay business it is always an uphill climb. My business works on treating the entire body as a unit. Most other modalites are limited too only treating the area that hurts in the body. Which is why I had to go the cash route, because I am not having to be insurance dictated. I have the freedom to work with each client as long as needed and everywhere the body needs help. Biggest lesson Ive learned is my self worth in my business. I have the knowledge and the expertise to help so many people, I am worth the price that is invested. I don’t doubt my abilities anymore. People who value you and value what you bring to the table are also those who will invest in you. Just as much as they invest in me financially, I invest in them and their stories. I give my utmost best to finding the answers and eliminating the pain, long term!
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Chattanooga is such a fun little city that has so much diversity. WE would start out with some breakfast at the Daily ration. Its locally owned and has amazing food. Then drive up to the art district and grab a coffee at Rembrambts coffee house. Leave our cars parked and get on the city bike. Do a fun bike tour of the art district, walking bridge area. Then bike over to Nic and Normans for some lunch. Afterwards bike over to the Riverwalk and head up the river to take in some river views. Go back and leave the bikes and drive up to lookout mountain. Get a history tour of point park. Take the incline train down the mountain. For dinner head to a locally owned Portugese restaurant Bela Lisboa. After dinner go up to sunset rock and catch the sunset as it sets over the Tennessee river.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My biggest mentor and supporter is Sally Murray. She is the one who opened the doors for me to become a Posture therapist and who is still a dear friend 10 plus years later.
