We had the good fortune of connecting with Travis Eads and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Travis, where are your from? We’d love to hear about how your background has played a role in who you are today?
I was born in Cullman, Alabama but then soon moved to Flint, Michigan where the rest of our family was. My whole life growing up we struggled, my parents did the best they could/knew how to do. Growing up around nothing & having nothing seems impossible to do anything good in life, but all that turned into having a mind set of having nothing to loose so why not try and take a risk in life.
When you grow up in violent places, you learn survival skills, you learn how to read people & you know how to come out of difficult situations.
Having these types of smarts helped me on the business side as well in adulthood.
Never having anything makes you appreciate everything which leads to staying humble in them “big accomplishments” moments.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I am an owner of a detailing company, the biggest thing that sets us apart from other detailing companies is the food truck cleaning side of our business. Not only can we detail your food truck, we also are skilled in the inside cleaning as well. We are currently stepping into the product side of things, recently we launched our own glass cleaner called “Clarity”. Super excited for adventuring into this side of things and learning a whole new side of the detailing business.
It’s been ups and downs, during this journey but things always seem to work itself out. Stay consistent, don’t give up on a idea or plan & stay focused and always willing to learn new things!

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
First thing is if they have never been to Waffle House, they are definitely getting the Waffle House experience. (Preferably at night time) Going to downtown Nashville for food and drinks is always a must while visiting, don’t really have a go to place because it’s always a new adventure there!
We would have to take a trip to downtown Franklin for some of the best pizza at Mellow Mushroom and then go to some shops while there.
Also the green hills mall is always fun!

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
First I want to give a shoutout to God.

Also my wife for always supporting me, helping me and keeping things at home on track. She basically runs things behind the scenes to make it possible for me to do the business part.

Also all of my regular customers, rather it be recommending me on social media or telling family & friends about me, they absolutely deserve a huge shout out!
