Meet Tracy O’Mayes | Treat Maker

We had the good fortune of connecting with Tracy O’Mayes and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Tracy, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
The process was just DO it, don’t think to much about it just gone jump on out there.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
So I actually have 2 businesses, I started off being a tax prepare and eventually started my own tax business Serenity Tax Service. I started Sassy Treats just making candy apples for my daughter 1 day and never stopped making them. I started wanting to do extra stuff like decorate the apples, started doing chocolate apples adding toppings to them. Making delicious flavored popcorn.. I just kept adding to the menu.. all this lead to making party Treats% dabbing a lil into cakes and cupcakes, cheese cakes. LOOK AT US NOW..

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
We’d go to Top Golf for sure, Then mayb to Dave and Busters for a few games and drinks. I know for sure will we will just cook at home whatever my Bestie would like. Take a walk on Beale Street go in a bar or two.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My HUSBAND who has always had my back. He stayed up many nights with me while I work on treats. Sometimes her helped to move the process a lil faster. Turned him into a baker when we open up the treat shop in Oakcourt Mall. They wanted us to sell cookies along with my treats. He know I couldn’tdo it all by myself so he stepped in and became the baker. He is so AWESOME..
