Meet Timeeka Tardy | CEO/ Founder/ Master Massage Therapist

We had the good fortune of connecting with Timeeka Tardy and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Timeeka, let’s talk legacy – what do you want yours to be?
I aspire to establish a lasting legacy, one characterized by the profound influence of using my God given gift with the world, healing hands. My goal is to create a positive impact on each person who encounters me or experiences my services. Not only for my role of a business owner and massage therapist but my role as a lovely dope soul whose intentions are good. I wish to be recognized as a woman of integrity, consistently fostering a secure and nurturing environment for all. My journey will be etched in people’s memories, reflecting the unyielding dedication I poured into every step. I hope to be remembered as a compassionate soul genuinely dedicated to the well-being of others, relentlessly refining my craft to contribute to their overall wellness.
Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Founded in 2019, Massages On The Move stands as a unique gem in Hendersonville, Tennessee, being the first Black-owned spa in the area, and the only one to provide massage therapy. Our dedication to wellness is steadfast, offering a diverse range of massage therapy services, post surgical treatments, body sculpting, and rejuvenating body scrubs.
What sets us apart is our dedication to delivering not just spa sessions but holistic experiences. We even provide spa parties and couples sessions, making celebrations special and memorable.
Our signature is not only our lavish spa, where tranquility and healing converge, but also our mobile options, where we bring our spa to your doorstep. We understand that everyone’s wellness journey is unique, and that’s why we’re proud of our ability to tailor each session to individual needs. Our sessions go beyond the physical; they touch the soul, helping individuals release emotions and heal from past traumas.
The path to where we are today was not without its share of challenges, but it’s through continuous growth and a strong support system that we’ve persevered and flourished. At the core of Massages On The Move is a passion for helping people live healthier, happier lives. Every client we serve experiences sessions that are truly individualized, ensuring they receive the approach that works best for them.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I’d like to express my deep gratitude to the Nashville School of Massage Therapy for providing me with the knowledge and skills necessary to embark on my career as a massage therapist. Without their excellent education and practical training, I wouldn’t have been able to pursue my passion.
I also want to extend my heartfelt thanks to my family and friends who have been awesome with their support throughout this journey. Their words of encouragement and faith in me have been a constant source of motivation, especially during challenging times when I contemplated giving up.
I am thankful for the invaluable experiences I’ve gained through attending various training sessions, conferences, and networking events. These opportunities have not only sharpened my business skills but have also allowed me to connect with fellow entrepreneurs for future networking and collaborations. Thank you to my Business Strategist Antionette Gentry for her expertise and innovative approach to business development.
I’d like to give special recognition to CSL Therapy, where I have the honor of serving as the Agency Director for Post Op- Indur. It’s a privilege to be a part of the vision. Lastly I’d like to thank Me for believing in myself and defeating all odds!
