We had the good fortune of connecting with Third Dagree and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi THIRD, what’s the most important thing you’ve done for your children?
First off, the pleasure is all mine! I’m honored to be blessed with two healthy and handsome young men that God chose for me to raise! I am diligent in all efforts to give them something that I’ve never had, a father. Sometimes I think that I’m just winging this job and be it hands on, my children and I are learning this life together! I do pride myself with instilling into them critical thinking skills, conflict resolution, as well as how to protect, provide, and defend! I’m happy to say that the biggest impact has been their impact on me as I share and teach them the greatest gift of all, love!

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I raise the bar and I set the trends! I stand alone with that, in such a stale and often stagnant market where following miseducated leaders is at an all time high! I created my own lingo which is something I deemed necessary in a market deep in the south where the biggest city in the state tries to reflect California’s urban culture which to me is highly unfortunate and very displeasing to investors and shows a tone of mental illness when California has yet to recognize these clones and put them in position to receive monetary or political gain! I took the slogan “Out The Garden” to replace the proverbial urban slur “Out The Mud” hoping to change minds of men to teach and reach the future generations! I’m always going to look like a grown man when I step outside! I don’t compete, I coach! I stand on that and my fashion sense is original, I don’t want to be compared to, or pool in with any of the local subpar miseducated who’ve for over fifty years have made the urban culture in Arkansas look and sound bad! I’ve coined the phrase “Keeping It Cayenne With You” and when I speak that’s how I deliver, I’ve got my own original recipe! Even sharing the blueprint is no problem as I watch those I’ve inspired try imitate everything from my “Grown Rap” position to trying to interview the biggest names and say the best phrases! They’ve never heard or seen anything like me! My level of intimidation is duly noted and I don’t see stopping anytime soon!

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I’m really a home body! I’ll fire up the grill at home or maybe catch some fish with my guys! I can cook so I’ll get on my own stove and just try any recipe I can think of! If you’re looking to be out and about on my time, you might want to try google maps! I’ve done so much partying in my younger years, that I’ve officially turned my tassel to the right and graduated to very grown man!

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My team, my family, my supporting cast! What the masses don’t get to often see are all the vital intricate parts that keep this well fashioned and highly polished brand “THIRD DAGREE” looking and acting the part! There’s a great group of men and women whom I love and respect to the upmost! I truly cherish our love for something greater than us all, founded in our belief in God! I’m truly highly favored to have access to such great business partners and talent tools! Who would have thought a kid from rural Arkansas could formulate and generate a global campaign building my brand! I don’t want to leave anyone out my business partners, my right hand man, my mother, my grandmother, my accountant! You name it we’re all on one accord and I appreciate them all!
