Meet Taylor Bialy | Audio Engineer, Mixer, & Producer.

We had the good fortune of connecting with Taylor Bialy and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Taylor, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
From a young age, I have always possessed a strong sense of self-motivation and a drive to pursue my own goals. When I was a kid, I started my own lawn business, which was an activity I enjoyed doing. The idea of taking something I love and turning it into an opportunity to make money resonated with me. It also taught me the importance of taking initiative and the benefits of being proactive in pursuing my passions. As I’ve grown older, this mindset has stayed with me. I find the most fulfillment in doing what I love and working towards my own goals while not being limited by the expectations of others. I find a sense of purpose and fulfillment by being self-motivated as it motivates me to continuously improve, learn, and challenge myself.
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
As someone who is passionate about music, I have always enjoyed being part of the creative process and the unique vision each artist has for their work. My primary goal when working with an artist is to ensure that the final product is exactly what they were imagining. This involves setting a rapport with each artist to be able to communicate openly, active listening, and a willingness to adapt and make revisions as needed. My determination to achieve an artist’s goal is the reason for my success. It’s what I believe sets me apart from other professionals in my industry. To me, it’s about giving the song what it deserves. At all costs. This mindset and workflow has gotten me hired back countless times, along with new clients that chase the same type of passion. My entire journey has been organic. I’ve always focused on making songs with my best friends that make us truly feel something.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Most of my friends from back where I grew up want to see live music when in Nashville, I will take them downtown to broadway, or a show one of my artist/clients may be playing that weekend. The bbq/ hot chicken here is a crowd favorite, so I usually take them to Pepperfire Hot Chicken, or Jacks Bar-B-Que. My favorite part of Tennessee are the mountains. So, I will suggest a cabin retreat in Gatlinburg most of the time.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My shoutout belongs to my parents. They have supported my journey every step of the way. Showing up to most of my concerts. Supporting my move to Nashville. Allowing my to host band practices in their basements. Being a drummer, I’m sure it was no easy task listening to me practice all those years! Truly could not have done it without their continued support for my passions and now career.
