We had the good fortune of connecting with Steven Asadoorian and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Steven, what is the most important factor behind your success?
I think the most important factor behind our success is that we strive to have the highest level of customer service and communication that one can have in a real estate transaction. Buying or selling a home can be very personal and you want a Realtor that truly cares about the client, home and relationship to make sure the sale goes as smooth and stress free as possible. One other thing we aim to do is to live up to what we say we are going to do. If I make an appointment for a phone call at 2pm I show up on time. If we have a showing scheduled on Saturday at 10 am, I am there prepared with listing information and more options for us to view. Clients and our time is precious so showing respect for people’s time and showing we care about them is what drives our brand. We build solid relationships with the hopes our clients feel great about coming back to us for real estate for years to come.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Nashville Home Squad is a team of professional Realtors serving the greater Nashville area. We are brokered by Exp Realty which is one of the fastest growing and most technologically forward real estate company in the world. I started in real estate in 2017 after a 17 year career in the entertainment industry. I was a professional singer and had the incredible blessings of working many different stages across the world. In 2015 I started to have some issues with my voice and I had to stop singing professionally. So I found my way to real estate. Now to be successful in entertainment it takes drive, work ethic, passion, willingness to learn and a go getter mentality. Well the same can be said for real estate. I took all of the skills I put into entertainment and focused them on real estate and began to find some success.

It definitely was not easy making the transition at first because there is no guaranteed income in real estate and for the first year or so I didn’t make much of a living. But I was encourage by my peers to stick it out and keep working hard and good things would come. That is exactly what I did. I kept my nose to the grindstone. Worked hard, did every open house, went to every class I could and started to find clients.

To this day I keep that same mentality. It is all about work ethic and willingness to put in what you want to get out. So I strive everyday to do the tasks and little things that lead to big things which leads to helping people with real estate.

I would like our potential clients to know that when you work us at Nashville Home Squad you get a professional, well educated, kind, caring Realtor who wants to help you find the best real estate opportunities out there.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If I had a friend in town and wanted to show them Nashville I would start my day on the west side of town for breakfast at Wendell Smiths. This is one of those hidden gems of Nashville if you want some down home cookin and that retro vibe. Very cool. Then I would head over to Percy Warner Park to walk off those biscuits we just ate. After that walk take a swing through Music Row to show them the record companies. For lunch we’d head over to The Gulch for some authentic ramen at OTAKU…. After lunch we’d head down to Broadway and hit up a few honky tonks to make sure they got a little taste of the music scene… After a few drinks and music we’d go catch the baseball game at the Sounds Stadium… Grab a hot dog and a beer and take in the game… For a night cap head over to the Thompson Hotel to LA Jackson to take in the skyline at night. Not a bad Nashville day!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would like to honestly give a big shoutout to my wife Sam Asadoorian who does work real estate with me, but she is also taking care of our two little kids Gryffin (3) and Andie (6months) which allows me the time to get out there and sell real estate. Without her sacrificing right now, we would not be able to do what we do.
