Hi SheLovesKiing, what led you to pursuing a creative path professionally?
I’m pursuing a career as a creative because I want to inspire others around my community and achieve financial freedom. There’s nothing wrong with it, but everyone has their preferences in life. I personally don’t see myself working a typical 9 to 5 job for the entire rest of my life. That was never my vision. Once I decided to no longer continue my journey with sports, I thought of my next best option; something else that would genuinely allow me to be happy while working. I love the idea of being able to broadcast my life to inspire others, as some creators have done for me, while also getting paid for it.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Honestly, I think what sets me apart from others is just my overall personality and energy that shows within my content. My journey in the content creation space hasn’t always been the easiest, but just remembering to stay grounded, humble, and ambitious has always helped me to overcome any challenges I’ve faced and get to where I am now. The biggest thing I’ve learned is to always believe in yourself and your vision, even when others may not see it or agree with you.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Roanoke is pretty small so there’s not much to do here. I would probably see if the friend would like to hit the gun range, take a hike, or go fishing in a nearby city. As far as parlaying and drinking, Buffalo Wild Wings would probably be the go to spot. We can kick it, get a few drinks, and watch the sports games too. For a dinner, we’d probably hit Crab Du Juor because who doesn’t like a good seafood boil?

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Yes, I want to give a big shoutout to everyone I call my friends and family, including my supporters, for continuously pushing me to not only be a better person each and every day, but for also continuously pushing and inspiring me to work hard towards my goals and passions. Without them, none of what I have achieved would be possible.
