Meet Sean Moran | Financial Advisor

We had the good fortune of connecting with Sean Moran and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Sean, Let’s talk about principles and values – what matters to you most?
The most important thing is to help others get what they need and help them achieve their goals. This is the idea behind our motto verse which is “Honor the Lord with your wealth, with the first fruits of all your crops. Then your barns will be filled to overflowing, your vats will brim over with new wine.” Proverbs 3:9-10.
None of us get to take our wealth with us, but we can bless so many others with it. I also believe that the more we help others, the more God will bless us with abundance so that we can in turn help more people. We need to be good stewards of our gifts, both monetary as well as talents. Wealth is not just measured in dollars.
Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Opening your own business is no small feat. While “overnight success” stories may exist, they often mask years of hard work and dedication. The true reward of entrepreneurship lies in the ability to help others on your own terms. This, however, requires continuous learning and adaptation.
Fortunately, my background in accounting and tax allows me to guide both businesses and families towards financial well-being. I assist them in making smart investments, structuring their finances efficiently, and building their businesses in a tax-minimizing way. Additionally, I am excited to introduce our new service: faith-based investing and financial planning.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If my friend were to come visit, there are many things I would share about this area. Living in the Nashville Metro area means there are a lot of great things to see without going too far. Of course, there is the Grand Ole Opry, , Gaylord Opryland, and Downtown Nashville. Exploring these places could be a fun day. Another day could be visiting the historic sites, of which there are many in this area.
We also have some amazing things right in Murfreesboro where I live. I would take my friend to explore Cannonsburg Village, The Greenway, and the historic downtown area. We would also take a day to visit a number of waterfalls and parks.
For food, of course I would take my friend to get Nashville Hot Chicken, BBQ, and of course I would visit Steak ‘n Shake on Old Fort Parkway. This restaurant is owned by my friend Dave Weill who is a fantastic guy and runs a super clean place. Who doesn’t like a good burger?
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
First and foremost my thanks to God, because of the gifts He has given me to help others with. Secondly, my wife who has been supportive in everything I have done. She encourages me and is a great person to bounce ideas off. I am also grateful for the people I worked with when I was in corporate tax, many of which taught me how to be a financial professional and a business man. Finally, I am grateful for my parents, who taught me that you don’t have to make a lot of money to become rich, you just need to keep the money you make.
