Meet Robert Baugh | Artist, Videographer, & Director also Founder of RedEyeFilms&Co.

We had the good fortune of connecting with Robert Baugh and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Robert, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
At RedEyeFilms&Co, the success of our creative projects is driven by the incredible synergy of our core team members, each bringing their unique expertise to the table. Mack is the backbone of our visual storytelling, serving as our main camera operator with an unparalleled eye for detail and composition. His versatility also extends to stepping in as an onset extra when needed, ensuring our shoots go smoothly no matter the challenge. Jvdah, the mastermind behind our visual treatments, shapes the aesthetic direction of each project, from concept to final cut. Not only does he excel in crafting captivating visuals, but he also masters all of our music, adding depth and atmosphere to our productions with his sound expertise. Brittany is our creative force in fashion, designing standout looks for our shows and visuals, ensuring every wardrobe choice complements the overall mood and message. Together, their collaborative efforts form the foundation of RedEyeFilms&Co’s success, blending innovation, creativity, and professionalism to produce high-quality work that resonates with audiences. When I (PesoTaxin) first sprouted this idea I couldn’t have wished for a more loving and helping team.
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
As a musical artist who transitioned into videography and directing, my journey has been one of self-discovery and creative evolution. Initially, my passion for music drove me to create, but I soon realized that to fully express my vision, I needed to take control of the visual side of my work as well. This led me to pick up a camera, learn the craft of directing, and build a platform where I could produce my own content from start to finish. Over the years, I’ve been proud of the consistent work I’ve been able to release, pushing boundaries and honing my skills along the way. The most challenging part of this journey, however, was learning to do this for myself—understanding that my art and my growth aren’t dependent on external validation, but on my own vision and drive.
Through RedEyeFilms&Co, I aim to show the world that with dedication, passion, and a belief in your own potential, anything is possible—even when resources are limited. This business was built with the goal of inspiring others to pursue their dreams, no matter the obstacles. It’s a testament to the power of creative resilience and the belief that we can craft our own paths, even when the odds seem against us.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
In my city of Nashville the first thing I would do is call up Todd and Nona and ask them if I can introduce my friends to the beautiful EastSide Manor. If you’ve ever had the luxury of visiting you’d understand the wonders of this hidden Gem. After a while we might head over to the Farmers Market to check out some food, obviously have to show them the wonders of Downtown especially the Food Assembly, and end the day creating at the studio. I literally can’t get away from the studio.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I want to give a special shoutout to my oldest daughter Myla. She is the original camera operator that gave me the confidence to start this misfiring the pandemic. She was also my first big fan of my music and let me know I have a real talent.
