We had the good fortune of connecting with Patrice Hudson and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Patrice, what inspires you?
I am inspired by anything and everything around me. If you stop and think about beauty surrounds us everyday.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
My career started in retail. In 2020 I lost my job due to the pandemic. I instantly came up with two business that I love and adore. Overcoming challenges is something you would always deal with. Take it day by day and task by task. Rome wasn’t build in a day. Some lessons I’ve learned along the way is to never take no for an answer. Blaze your own path no matter who or what believes in you. As long as you don’t give up on your dreams and goals.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Nyc is a place where dreams come true. I would take my friend to the Times Square to soak up the sunshine ans people watch and then of course grab a slice a pizza. Yummy! In NYC you really don’t have to plan for anything let the city decide for you.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would like to thank myself for never giving up on me. I would like to thank my friends and family for always giving me advice and support whenever I need it. Last but not least I would love to thank God.
