We had the good fortune of connecting with Osmin Majano and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Osmin, what do you attribute your success to?
We have multiple factors behind our success.

1-Perseverance-Not giving up even during hard time. If one find that one way doesn’t work, then try another one until reach your objective.

2-Innovation-Be open to the change. For example, only because something work in one city, it doesn’t mean that works in another.

3-Have Goals-Short and long term goals are important. For example, in our coffee shop, we have daily or weekly goals.

4-Have a great team-without a great team, it’s hard to reach a goal. We make sure to take care of our team in many ways. We make them feel that they are part of our family and we provide the tools for work. Meeting are crucial that way we have great communication for success.

What should our readers know about your business?
JOS Fifteen Coffee, Ice Cream, Bakery, and Sweets is a small coffee shop in Antioch, TN that started in 2019. Our company started as a boutique selling in markets and outdoors. Then after growing a little we started renting shared space. Once company got to the point that we was able to rent a stand along building, we opened in 2022 in Shelbyville, TN. After realizing that the traveling was a lot from Nashville, TN to Shelbyville, TN, we moved the coffee shop to Antioch, TN in the summer of 2023. We hope in the future to distribute our pastries locally and open a coffee roaster in Nashville.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
We would stop at our coffee shop for some coffee first. Then we would head to Monell’s to southern brunch. After than, we would take a nap. After the nap, we would head to Arrington Vineyard. Then after enjoying the afternoon, we would go down to Murfreesboro to eat some traditional Salvadoran food.

Let’s say it’s summer time, we would spend the whole day kayaking in Normandy, TN at Elk River.

Also, a lot of places in East Nashville, walking in downtown Franklin, and Downtown Nashville. And then if we ran out of places locally, we would go down to Knoxville or Chattanooga.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Juanpablo’s mom and our team deserves a recognition for being there with us during the great and bad times.
