Meet Nathaniel Harris | Owner of Woodcuts Gallery and Framing

We had the good fortune of connecting with Nathaniel Harris and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Nathaniel, can you talk to us a bit about the social impact of your business?
It provided jobs and help revitalize the Jefferson Street community.
Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Woodcuts Gallery and Framing is sole proprietorship. We pride ourselves in fast efficient custom framing at a reasonable price. We pride ourselves in providing service for the Jefferson Street area and the community beyond it. Our business provides an outlet for artist to showcase and sell their original works.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
A favorite spot to tour would be the African American Museum of Music, Historic Fisk University, and the Van Vechten Art Gallery on Fisk Campus. A few great places to eat would be Slim & Husky’s on Buchanan and Official Wings on Jefferson Street.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
We want to give out a shout out to Jefferson Street United Merchant Partnership (J.U.M.P).
