We had the good fortune of connecting with Nathan Sanderlin and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Nathan, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
Growing up as a kid I always knew that music was away out for me, after my dad passed away I started taking it a lot more seriously putting more thought into the business, learning how to manage myself as a independent artist, developing different mind & skill sets throughout my journey to elevate my business as a independent music artist.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I’m a 22 year old independent artist from Haywood county, Brownsville Tn. I’m represent the struggle of real life situations, my music is soothing, highway ride, good vibes, you can play around your kids type of music. I just want to reach out to the ones that possibly have the same story as me, the more I grow as an artist and can deliver more I feel like my brand be power!

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I’d tell them go down Beale street and have a good time really. Memphis is one of those places where you don’t want to be out at a place too long things make can take a turn on you.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would like to shout out Otw kilo, met my homie and everything been love and respect ever since. I learn a lot from him when it comes to learning the production of music. Also Shoutout BjMoneyFilms an upcoming videographer, he shoots most of my music videos and I got nothing good things to say about him as well. My day one homie I want to give a big shout out too is Dee Sosa, that’s my brother we came from the bottom together doing this music, if I need help he there if he need it I’m there… everything always understood between me and him.
