We had the good fortune of connecting with Moriah Naomi Stinson and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Moriah Naomi, have you ever found yourself in a spot where you had to decide whether to give up or keep going? How did you make the choice?
Today’s world definitely makes giving up the easier option. Daily and usually without even realizing it we compare ourselves to others simply by scrolling on our phones. The thing is… we all have our own unique talents and abilities to offer. You will never be anyone but yourself so why not try to be the best you? If you’re trying to make something work because it worked for someone else or because others are telling you it’s what you should be doing, that’s when you need to give up. Give up on the things that don’t make YOU shine. Not everything will work out along the way but if you stay true to yourself that will keep you going. If something doesn’t feel right, let it go. If you feel led to try something, do it. Your future is to be discovered and may not look the way you thought it would. Ultimately always keep going. Taking a few wrong turns along the way will only make you stronger and lead you to the right ones.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I’ve been singing since I can remember. I’m very proud of the growth in my voice over the years. I’ve released a few songs here and there and am currently working on some new stuff. I’m also very passionate about content creation. I love reviewing various drinks and products and sharing them with my followers. I love showing life and the positive impact of connecting in an online community through social media. It isn’t always easy though.

I’ve had to overcome many obstacles over the past few years beyond just the crazy state the world has been in. I’ve had some key people in my life pass away unexpectedly, continued to settle into adulthood and tried to balance life and passion. I’ve had breakdowns and know giving up would’ve been so much easier than pushing forward. Looking to God for strength is truly what has gotten me through and pulled me out of a dark place.

My main goal in anything I create, post or do is to show Gods love. The world needs more role models that are REAL and RELATABLE. I’m honest with the good, the bad and everything in between. If my content helps someone, that’s all I care about. Whether it’s 5 people or 5000 doesn’t matter to me.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I love taking people to Opryland! As we’re entering into the holiday season, it’s truly the best time to go. We’d start out by going to the Opry Mills Mall. There are so many fun stores and delicious places to eat. Salt Grass is a newer restaurant but definitely worth trying so we’d have steaks and a few drinks. Next we would go over to the Opryland Hotel as night starts to fall. I always tell people it feels like you’re entering into a whole other world when you step into the various areas of the hotel. You’re inside but feels like your outside. It never gets old to me. Hopefully it would be Christmas time (the best time in my opinion) so we could take in all the amazing lights and decorations! We’d grab some hot cocoa and explore the ICE! attraction. If we were really feeling adventurous we’d stay the night in the hotel and hit up the waterpark!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I’d like to shoutout my dad, Scott. He’s been there from the start. He’s taught me to be strong and keep going. He’s truly my biggest fan. We don’t live in the same state anymore but that certainly doesn’t stop him from taking every opportunity to tell others about my music and social media. I’ve had countless people over the years tell me how they were introduced to my work through the enthusiasm of my dad. I don’t think I’ve thanked him enough so this one goes out to you dad! I love you forever and always.
