We had the good fortune of connecting with Michelle Smith and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Michelle, can you tell us about a book that has had a meaningful impact on you?
Currently I’m reading Fervent by Priscilla Shirer. The book is so good. It references A woman’s battle plan for serious, specific and strategic prayer. It has completely transformed my prayer life. 10/10 I would recommend.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?

We started out during the pandemic just decorating parties at home for family and friends for fun. As we posted on social media we started getting inquiries and things just took off from there.

It hasn’t always been easy to go from just a hobby to actually doing what we love professionally. There are so many event planners, balloon artist and lots of talented creators in Nashville. We always feel so blessed to be chosen to provide services to our clients when there are so many others to choose from.

Lessons I learned on this journey… Knowing my own worth, and not trying to keep up or compete with the next creator. We all have our own unique style that a lot of times can’t be duplicated.

Infinite Party Designs is all about what we can design for YOU! Bottom line, we are here to provide our clients a stress free party planning experience, bringing their visions to reality.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Wow, great question! All of my friends are foodies! I would totally get a nice rental home and book a caterer! A popular one that is experienced in making all of the good meals. Like a good steak, lamb chops and chicken with some yummy side dishes! Can’t forget about a good brunch too. I love to create an intimate setting with my group of friends so I would totally book a mixologist to come and make us drinks!! So pretty much the fun would come to us! Adding some good conversations, games and most of all relaxation in the mix would be how I would show my friends a good time.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Yes of course! Being a fairly new entrepreneur, most of us start our business being the only employee. With that being said, I’d like to thank my better half Nick Smith for always helping me make sure my services are delivered with excellence! Also I would like to just shoutout everyone who has entrusted me for some of their most important events. Thank you!
