Hi Marsalena, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
My thought process behind starting my business was I wanted to make an impact on people’s lives. By sharing my journey and story I can encourage people they are worthy. I created a clothing brand and soon to be community to spread awareness that you are worthy and victorious.
Being worthy is a topic that holds immense significance in our lives. It speaks to the value, respect, and acknowledgement we seek from ourselves and others. To be worthy means to believe in our own capabilities, to recognize our strengths, and to trust that we are deserving of success, happiness, and love.
In a world that often imposes external expectations and standards upon us, it can be easy to question our worth. However, true worthiness comes from within. It stems from self-acceptance and self-love, rather than relying solely on validation from others.
Embracing our worthiness requires us to let go of comparison and self-doubt. It demands that we recognize our unique qualities, talents, and contributions. We must understand that every individual has their own journey and timeline, and our worthiness should not be measured against someone else’s achievements.
Being worthy means honoring our own needs and boundaries. It means prioritizing self-care and embracing our emotions, allowing ourselves to be vulnerable and seeking support when needed. It means making decisions that align with our values and staying true to ourselves, even in the face of challenges.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I created my business I am victorious in 2022 after dealing with so many life challenges. My reason is i want to do to others as I want to be treated. I once was in a dark place hoping someone would come save me. My mission is to uplift and empower others. I will provide support, encouragement, and guidance to help them overcome obstacles and achieve their goals. Through my words brand I aim to inspire others to believe in themselves, embrace their victories, and never give up on their dreams. Together, we are victorious in creating a world where everyone can thrive and succeed.
I’m learning that timing is everything. If I keep showing up and being consistent it will pay off.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If I was to suggest an area to visit would be downtown. Downtown Jackson is constantly expanding. I recommend trying skillet junction for brunch and black smiths for dinner. Downtown Jackson places to Shop and nice Airbnb’s to stay. If you want to workout they have the LIFT.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I want to first thank my family and friends for always supporting me. They seen something in me that I didn’t even see in myself. They believed in me. I also want to thank my pastor for pushing me into purpose. My life hasn’t been the same since joining my church. I’m more confident and I’m walking into my destiny.
