We had the good fortune of connecting with Marissa Jackson and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Marissa, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
In this terms it would be “Jeep Club”.

The thought process behind starting Cashville Jeep Crew was to get with like-minded people who also loved and adored their Jeeps. We all have genuine relationships with each other and motivate one another in all aspects of life. We understand each other and our response is always “Its a Jeep Thing!”

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
Cashville Jeep Crew is a group of individuals from all walks of life! Some of us are in Human Resources, work at group homes, or even PRNs! We are from all over but we have all found our way to each other here in Nashville TN.

What sets us apart from others is our love for one another. Some of us knew each other before the group and some just met months ago. For instance two of our founders, Kieohnica and myself met back in 2004 at TSU. We also have 2 members who went to high school together. Angelita and Alexandria. The rest of us met more recently and to be honest, it feels a lot longer than that. It’s amazing the bond you can build with people in such a short time.

What we are most proud of is our Jeeps! Duh! We love them like we birthed them ourselves lol! We are always upgrading or doing something to our Jeeps almost every week. From under glows to tinted windows!

It was easy to start the crew. We started with four founders. Myself, Kie, Kaite, and Cierra. All 3 ladies had Jeeps already. Once I got mine I wanted a crew to keep me motivated and to ride out with. These 3 were PERFECT! They are all so different and that’s my favorite part. Once we started we began to meet some really dope people that turned into family!

The lesson I’ve learned along the way is to always ask for help. There were so many things I didn’t know and my crew has been amazing in that aspect. We have a guy named Juice in the group that I literally ask a zillion questions a week. He’s good at doing his own upgrades. Everyone in the group is good at something and that’s what makes us so dope!

What I want the world to know is that Cashville Jeep Crew is here to stay. We encourage anyone out there with a Jeep Wrangler (Gladiators count!) to join in and become a part of the family! We also want to promote our Jeep Event here in Nashville on August 9-11th. This will be a weekend for Jeeps to get together and vibe! We will have a meeting and greet, pool party and much more! If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If the Jeep Crew was leading the way we’d first stop by “The Hill”. That’s where we usually meet up before we go on a Rideout. It’s a spot to just vibe and you can see downtown. Then we’d go to Roasted for Brunch. Their food is the best! There are a few spots like Vibes, Minerva, or Willie B’s for a hookah lounge and a quick bite to eat. One of my favorite spots is The Virgin Hotel Rooftop. Nashville has several rooftop spots that would take up your whole week. L27, L.A. Jackson, Layer Cake, The Rux, and so many others. PH Craft has a dope little happy hour as well.

As far as food I’m choosing Strike Out Wings or Princess Chicken. A few other dope spots are Official Wings, Slim and Huskies, and Butchertown Hall.

Some of the places that we have gone and done include Calendars, Nashfeels, Game Terminal, and Bowling. One of my favorite things to do of course is skating. Nashville is known for their bachelorette excitement so heading downtown will always be full of people.

Nashville has grown so much since I moved here 20 years ago and Cashville Jeep Crew is here to grow with it!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Yes. Atlanta Jeep Club. I went to my very first Jeep Event in May of 2023. I was soooo excited and they showed so much love. It was up from there. I love how organized they are and how welcoming they can be. The vibes were everything! I returned in September and had a ball.

I also want to shout out my girl Tessa! She had one for years and I was determined to get one so I could ride out with her one day! That’s my dawg right there!
