Hi Mariana, what’s the most difficult decision you’ve ever had to make?
WOW! I think the most difficult decision I’ve ever had to make was finally CHOOSING ME!!!! I know this sounds pretty romantic and maybe kind of clicheé, but I do think that coming to the realization that once you make this conscious decision you have access to unblocking so many blessings and live from a very loving / fulfilled place. I think this is a difficult decision to make, even though it sounds easy and logical, we are just not wired to actually do it! And the hard part is, that you need to keep practicing and deciding this constantly, not only one time in your life, but in EVERY SINGLE SEASON OF IT!
And then you also realize that every time you decide to choose yourself, you will also decide to walk away from every single thing, person, or situation that is no longer aligned with your essence, energy, and identity. And walking away from that is difficult as we need to break with patterns and fears in order to let go and set us free!
At the end of the day, choosing is also letting go. And letting go is safe! Deciding to choose YOU will always give you clarity and guidance in what is that you NEED to let go, of in this season of your life…
Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
So, my journey actually initiated around 5-6 years ago when I decided to follow my dream and listen to my call. “Being a safe space for people to grow and enhance their minds, souls, to create impact within their relationships and a fulfilled life”. I actually came from a Marketing and PR background, with some professional experience in HR, & headhunting. I am originally from Mexico, and it was when I went to study abroad that I started learning from coaching and that completely blew my mind!!!
I decided to go all in with the executive coaching career, so I invested years in education and certifications. I started creating and proving success through my own methodologies and techniques. Until I opened my own coaching services company called “MACOACHING Services”. We are not only the best at pure coaching, but we are all about performance!!! We offered a variety of training, sessions, programs, facilitations, off-sites, conferences, team buildings, retreats, and even cultural transformations!! All are based on tangible and emotional KPIs.
I always knew I wanted to impact and contribute to living in a better and kinder world. So, also that’s when I knew. I need to coach the leaders of today!!!
I think what really sets me apart from others is the proven and impactful methodology that I use in my coaching processes. This methodology is based on pure coaching that involves transformative questions + tools and theory that covers what the real performance is. Hence, everything can be measured and certainly transformed in a sustainable way, always impacting the culture in organizations and the purpose of the person. And certainly. I need to say this, but MY ENERGY!!! For many years one of my biggest challenges for creating credibility in the industry was my “young age”, as I started in my mid-20s to coach and to be in the executive coaching arena, doing 1:1s with top executives and having conversations with many CEOs. At first, this was something that I needed not only to prove my experience and capabilities but also to gain credibility. Later on, I think this young, innovative, and fresh vision is what the industry and great leaders are valuing and finding really impactful.
When people ask me, “Has this been easy?” OF COURSE NOT! But… what is easy nowadays? I think it has been easy to operate from my gifts and my element, as coaching is my main purpose and passion, but to make a profitable business and mostly, a sustainable one, has its BIG challenges. People mostly, LOL! Not everyone is coachable, or not everyone WANTS to be coached. In the executive world you really need to work hard in order to create a sustainable business and credibility, and your coaching skills and abilities will always be related to the sustainable and real changes that your clients are able to achieve or create…
I’ve learned so many lessons along the way, but if I could mention the BIGGEST one of them all, it would be the importance of being aligned and congruent with all of you, so your decisions become part of where you wanna be. The decisions you are willing to take, or that you must take are critical. It is very important to be crystal clear about who you are, and about your WHY’s, why is it important for you to invest money, time, energy, and everything in what you do… and when you honor these answers, and make them the center of your decisions you will realize that not ALL of the opportunities are worth to be taken, neither all of the risks, or battles to be fought, and then you will become someone selective, and that will always take you to bigger and better places, raising your standards in all senses. But you need to be willing to LET GO and have the courage to PASS on some opportunities.
Lastly, I would love for the world to know about my story and brand that we ALL HAVE SOMETHING WE CAN CREATE AND ACHIEVE, I always love to think that we do not choose our dreams, but they do. Your dream was already yours before you were born. Your dream already chose you and it is waiting for you to claim it and say YES to it! You always receive signs in the way, what makes you feel good, which kind of projects truly ignite you, and what are your gifts. I always knew I wanted to write books, I wanted to talk to the masses, and I wanted to impact. I never knew exactly how or when, but when I found that part of my gifts were public speaking, listening, being close to people, connecting, then coaching appeared my life, and I shifted gears, changed my career, started again from scratch without any guarantee at all, and now I see what I’ve been doing and building from the past years, and I not only feel proud but I can see all of my dreams and dream life becoming MY loving reality, and I feel blessed and grateful!!! And I know this is only the start. So, I really hope this can inspire you and remind you, that maybe while you’re reading this and something inside of you moves, even a tiny piece of curiosity, it is your dream trying to call you. And your call is out there waiting for you to decide and take action upon it.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
OMG! I am always the kind of person who loves to discover new places and live in the cities as part of it, and not as a tourist. So I will certainly plan some local restaurants, shops, sporty plans of course! Nice drinks on a rooftop; views are something that I enjoy and that create inspiration for me. I will also take my friend on some road trips to nice places near the city, Vineyard plans are always a good idea, and so, are plans within nature.

Yay! I would love to give an amazing shoutout to my MOM!!! I truly think that part of the reason why I am very brave and committed to following my dreams and working hard toward the life I want to create, and that financial freedom is because of her example, and support. She ALWAYS encouraged me to go beyond my imagination, to try it all, and to make it happen if that’s what’s gonna bring me joy and fulfillment in my life. She has also taught me to never be afraid of failure, she has such a positive view about life and everything, that even failure is no longer something negative for her, and so for me. Also, I would like to give all the glory and shoutout to my amazing GOD!!! His strength, mercy, and grace always take me to places that I can’t even imagine!!!
