Meet LunaverSol | Musician & Artist

We had the good fortune of connecting with LunaverSol and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi LunaverSol, what habits do you feel play an important role in your life?
One good habit thats helped me is taking time for myself when I truly need it. I think thats what us a creatives, even myself, tend to forget whenever we hit a creative wall. We forget to allow ourselves to simply exist in our own flow of life and experiences for a while. Like a fruit tree you have to water it and let it alone & give it time to soak up all the sunlight, life, nutrients so that can bare some goodness out into the world again.
Another is keeping a good means of discipline about me as far as life/work administration goes.
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
Something I’ve learned recently is how to balance the business and creative aspects of music. The reason I create music is that: it’s what I just seem to do. It’s what I was born doing and kept learning how to do different ways naturally as time passed. Being able to maintain authenticity in this career is an interesting journey. Ive found that I’ve pressured myself to produce a more mainstream sound at times which tends to slightly chip away at the direct soul speak that would usually be coming from sound bearer, songwriter or composer. Sometimes I almost feel a dread to create and release content because, I haven’t yet found it in me to put all I need to into the social media aspect of it. But recently a freind offered some advice that not everything we post has to be so perfect. That was a gentle yet powerful reminder that gave me a bit of mental freedom back. Also ! It kind of makes me think about, how I was reading in The Bhagavad Gita recently that we cant rest easy essentially, knowing that Creator is ultimately the doer. So, we don’t have to worry about the results of our actions, it’s all done in a Divine knowing that we may not understand fully at the time but will eventually maybe even flourish into blessings more than we could’ve imagined. Its something I’ve completely figured out yet but its an expression of part of this careers journey.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I currently reside in Louisville, Kentucky ~ Ive lived here a few times throughout my life and I’ve found a few spots Im really thankful to have gotten to know here. There is a pond that blooms lotus flowers in march somewhere around here, I honestly can’t remember what park it happens at, but once I do, that will most certainly be on the list.
Until then there are a few classics that I would do for louisville, the walking bridge of course if the weather is nice~ its really beautiful with all the lights over the water, and being able to see the cityscape. Sometimes they’ll be someone playing something nice, its chill, nice. I really enjoy just being outside, so I would take them to cox park and just enjoy sitting by the river. Food wise there are a lot of nice places here, I like heart and soy, maybe we would go there and walk around the highlands, thats always nice… or Eden & Kissi is also a great place to eat.
Last but not least we would have to make sure we support the local music scene by stepping out to a music event featuring the talent here~ great vibes
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Creator has blessed me to be in every space I need to move forward in this journey, my first shout out would be to Creator. For the rest, its difficult to choose just one person to shout out because, parents, siblings, friends, producers, my manager, friends, artists, music groups in the city now have all contributed to helping me walk this path. Producers who have helped me significantly would be Deraj Global, Roman Lane, Obinans, La’ Tray, Dekar Justus, Lil Busta & Nstramental. Some engineers who I appreciate very much; TayBeats502 (also an amazing producer) Rob AKA “Saint” Calloway, A.O., Deraj Global, and V8. An organization thats given me very beautiful experiences in Louisville, KY is BeTheBluPrint. My managers name is Renee Unique shes been helping me a lot as well as being involved in the Hip Hop Fraternity. There are so many of my friends that deserve the recognition as well I could name a novels worth.
I really would love to shout out my freinds who have been there for me as well, even though those above are also freinds there are friends that dont engage in music who have really helped me like Autumn, Megan, Mike, Shantay, Aya, Money, Sydni, Imani, Tkayy, Tatiyana, Kellz .. there are people I’m leaving out I already know but there are so many people who have helped me just exist in general.
