Meet Lizzy Louise | Musician

We had the good fortune of connecting with Lizzy Louise and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Lizzy, can you tell us more about your background and the role it’s played in shaping who you are today?
Hello my name is Lizzy Louise. I’m from a small town in Iowa. I grew up loving music and being a big part of it. I write, sing, play and record my own songs. I have my music on so many platforms from YouTube, Spotify, iTunes, pandora and so many more! I give thanks to Brooklyn Mercedes for helping me get signed and on platforms. What all impact me was my love for the music and just my hard work and talent that got me to where I am now.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I am a country singer songwriter. I do more of the 1980’s , 90’s and early 2000’s country style. I play guitar, write my own songs ( and with others ), record and more. I started music at 12 years old in 2016. I started putting music put in 2019 on YouTube. In 2022 August I got signed with Brooklyn Mercedes her label and CDBaby. I learned a lot over the years to just keep trying no matter how many fails. Never be afraid to fall cause it’s just another way to success. It wasn’t always easy. I’ve been through a ton of ups and downs in my career, but I just kept on trying everytime. I just want the world to know that I just wanna be like a normal person that’s doing what she loves even if someday it won’t be a normal life. I wanna be my own artist and my own light. To also know that I want to inspire others and help impact other lives too. I wanna touch hearts to others around the world.

My love and passion for music is what got me to where I am today and helped inspire me to go big and explore my true identity! It’s what taught me from what is right and wrong. Gave me a life of a story to tell to the world and the adventures that was untold! I got to explore what I love and enjoy and who I get to be! The character I’ve created in my stories of who I am and the stories I’ve made about my life!

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I would take them anywhere they would like to see and just explore around the town.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I thank my boyfriend for supporting me and being there since the start of my signing. I also thank my mama for believing in me and teaching me that I can do anything I love. I thank Brooklyn Mercedes for cosigning me to her lable and for CD baby for helping me get my stuff out. I also thank Brooklyn for helping me get my music out too! I thank all my coworkers at Many Hands Market for supporting me and congratulating me.
