Hi Latrice, where are your from? We’d love to hear about how your background has played a role in who you are today?
Raised in Chicago, by a single mother I experienced a loving and supportive environment that impacted my life. I was taught adaptability and perseverance along with determination, empathy and resilient optimism.
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I built my business from scratch fueled with ambition, and no direction. I was a nursing school student doing hair on the side for gas money, until I made hair my career. I had a passion for hair but didn’t think being a hairstylist was a thing. I’m proud to say I made a passion into a career. I poured my heart and soul into creating foundation. Long nights , early mornings and countless sacrifices I preserved. Weekly trips to my hometown helped make ends meet. Tears and hard days were plentiful, but I refused to give up . Lessons learned such as separating business and personal to maintain professionalism, hard work can overcome any obstacle and never underestimate the power of a strong support system. From little to nothing , I’ve build an empire through blood , sweat and tears. My brand stands for empowering women to take control of their lives , inspiring resilience and determination. I am a strong self-made woman who’s been through the struggle and a symbol of hope and perseverance.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Itinerary:
Day 1: brunch at eggs and grits
Pilates at Daily Pilates
Pampering session at Lush Nail Bar
Night out at Puttshack( mini golf)
Day 2: dinner at knife atl
Girls Night at Spaceman ( rooftop bar)
Day 3: explore ponce city market ( shopping, food, and scooters)
End the day with girls game / movie night
Day 4: Falcons or Hawks game
Night out at Mck( good vibes and music)

I dedicate my Shouout to my incredible mother and best friend. You made ends meet while jungling countless responsibilities and hardships. The love and determination shaped me into the successful woman I am today. Shoutout to my amazing single super mom! You are the real MVP.
