Hi Latina Unique Hair, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking
I’m totally a risk taker, I’ve always been the type to wake up and say I want to try this or that & just go for it! lol

When it comes to my life/career, starting my small business & leaving my 9-5 -with out the safety net of a two wk paycheck,
or man (because I wasn’t dating at the time) with an extra income to fall back on…
That has been my biggest risk ever,
I knew that it was all on me,
and I think that’s a ton of pressure.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
When I decide to start back Styling, I definitely wanted to provide a pampering, relaxation type of experience that will allow women to come and have peace…

I grew up in a traditional salon environment, and it was a joy! But very busy,
I knew I simply wanted to provide a spa treatment kind of vibe, and I do believe that’s what sets me apart… so with that I decided to open a small studio salon, that allows ladies to come in & do exactly that, relax & get pretty….no drama, great snacks & beverages,

it’s a vibe -as my clients would say lol.

Opening and maintaining my business (as we just celebrated 6yr) isn’t easy at all, I’m grateful that we got through that pandemic, it was a very hard & trying time, but God was totally with us, and I’m grateful.

I’ve definitely learned a lot of tough lessons that actually shaped and mode me into the woman I am today, and I do not regret any of the test/challenges God allowed me to go through, they have definitely made me stronger, and true believer in each and every aspect,

What I want the world to know is -In all your ways Acknowledge God, and he shall direct your path.(proverbs3|5:6)

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If my friends were coming into town for a girls weekend, 1st. We would start at the spa, because I need everyone to calm down & get ready for a good time! Lol

We will hangout at a few roof top places in the city…
Nashville has an awesome nightlife, their plenty to do…the Gulch area is great for a cool chill vibe, it has a few rooftop places & restaurant…you also have Broadway directly up the street, if you want to dance, play video games, continue to eat, or listen to live music…

you can get a bit of everything in Nashville.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
It’s funny you ask this, because I’m so in the spirit of thankfulness & gratitude…

You go through this journey & you have moments of reflection, and realize who started with you, and who has actually been right by your side the entire time, and witness every version of you…and I would really like to thank my love ones and my clients inside and outside my salon studio.

They have really been incredibly great throughout all of my highs and lows, they motivate me, while also making me feel appreciated continuously, and I’m forever grateful for these people & thank God that I have them in my life, they are the real MVP’s
