We had the good fortune of connecting with Larry D. NuTall and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Larry D., can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
My thought process behind starting my own Production Company was ultimately due to the opportunities given to me from various artists that saw something unique in my ability to preform. There, I realized how fortunate I was to be a recipient of advance training.

Starting the business was something that I’ve always wanted to achieve. I must admit that it was a life altering decision, it can effect you in many ways beyond finance although I enjoy the creativity of putting it all together.

My ultimate goal and purpose in starting Larry NuTall Production, Inc. is to MAKE DREAMS COME TRUE. To expose talent that other wise would never be discovered.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I’m currently employed with a major Air Line. My career started in 1996 in the travel industry. I travel the world domestically and internationally. I’m a former Aeronautical Safety Professional / In-flight Services. What an awesome career! I love the fact that I can experience different cultures/food, entertainment and sporting events. My favorite destination is Seoul Korea. I would love to reside there someday for at least five years. Although, I’m out of the country I can successfully maintain my Production Company from abroad. LNP, Inc. is A Classic and Contemporary Production Company that specializes in a collaborative form of fine arts.
Officially, I started the company Larry NuTall Productions, Inc. in 2016 before starting the company I was considered a seasoned Playwright/Director, perhaps one of few to present stage productions in the Mid-South area in the early 80’s. My first stage production entitled … ” And Then … THE RAPTURE ” was my indication that God had given me something UNIQUE & SPECIAL. The venue was a local High School Auditorium, standing room only. Back by Poplar Demand the show was a HIT…

It started for me as a Classical Dancer with TN Ballet / Memphis Theatre of Ballet. I wanted to know everything there was about Theater and how it worked, the lights, the sound, the sets, the costumes … EVERYTHING. As a dancer, I was equipped to tell stories with choreographed movements of my body and now, I’m a firm believer that I am equipped to minister to the masses with my artistic anointing.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
My favorite spot in the city is of course the Theater, however I love interacting in other areas of entertainment in the city as well. I enjoy going to concerts, sporting events, local productions. museums, art galleries, theme parks, movies and Beale Street, especially live music. Memphis is known for great Bar B Que. One of my favorite foods. I specifically prefer dry rub with sauce on the side. My favorite restaurant specializes in dry rub. Pizza, lasagna, spaghetti are favorites as well. Most Italian entrees are favorable.

Also, I enjoy entertaining in the comfort and privacy of my home as well, I believe entertaining at home is as rewarding as dining in restaurants. The proper guest, food and beverage selections, movies, games and wholesome conversation can be fun and interesting as well.
