We had the good fortune of connecting with LaJuan Ransom Jr and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi LaJuan, what role has risk played in your life or career?
Risk taking has brought success in my life thus far. I was raised in a household where we didn’t believe in taking a risk, it was more about playing it safe. Taking a risk at the right moment that my gut feeling will give me. Opportunities are a hit and miss, sometimes you get one shot so always aim high. Always think things through and never move too fast. Moving too fast and making a risk can make a mess. 2 steps at a time to be ahead but not over leverage yourself. That’s my version of playing it safe while taking risk.
Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
One thing I’m proud about the Buisness is watching it enhance to a better service for the community. Seeing it grow within the city and really getting familiar with the people of Nashville. However the brand needs to be more involved with the crowd. But I love the growth. Looking at the first image on instagram to the most recent post it’s mind blowing. However, there is a lot of room for improvement and I’m excited about that. There are some challenges when it comes to pursuing a store front. I believe it will give more people the confidence to trust us and allow our services be apart of their everyday lives. I’ve learn that it takes a team I’ve done many things alone. However, a team can allow the business to grow in many ways.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I would take them to the cone head restaurant in East Nashville to enjoy the new food culture of music city. After, for drinks I will show them pH Craft Cocktail to have a drink of the guidance whiskey which is common drink in Nashville. To have the most fun would be Rosemary & Beauty Queen to have a good experience.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would like to shout out Chris Hogan who wrote “ Everyday Millionaires “ inspired by Dave Ramsey. Reading the novel learning Finacial literacy and smart decision is the best recommendation. Also want to shoutout “ Reshoevn8r “ for inspiring us to bring the culture to the southern region and the origin Nashville, TN. Most importantly shoutout to the crowd who supports the brand and want to see us excel to success. We doing it for the community.
