Meet Kimberly Jackson | Faith Based Certified Clarity Coach

We had the good fortune of connecting with Kimberly Jackson and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Kimberly, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
The most important factor behind my success/ the success of my brand has been “Authenticity.” My showing up in spaces where I am open and transparent has been the thing that connects me with others and help them navigate through the things they are experiencing.
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
As a life coach, I assist individuals with accomplishing their goals and desires so that they reach maximum satisfaction in life. Nothing excites me more then interacting with someone and helping them reach their “light bulb” moment on what is keeping them stagnant and/or what they need to do to push forward. I am also a social worker and the knowledge and skills I have developed over the years allows me to engage with people and see the missing piece or other perspective they may be missing. The biggest challenged I have faced on my journey is overcoming the limiting beliefs about my gift and talent. I would like to say I am still overcoming that challenge, however I overcome by doing it scared. I have learned that you cannot allow fear to keep you in the same place and cycles. This is one of the reasons I Am Kimspirations was birth. I want to help others overcome their limiting beliefs and go after the life they desire to live. I aim to educate on what the missing piece is to life satisfaction, equip you with the skills you need, and empower you along the journey.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If my best friend was in town for a week, we would do the following
Monday; Brunch at Big Bad Breakfast, go shopping (I’d let her pick the stores), go for ice cream at Baskin Robbins, and we would end the night at my place with a home cooked meal,
Tuesday: We would go to Biscuits and Jams in Bartlett for breakfast, if the weather is nice would go to Shelby Farms for a little walking/ sitting around the water, we would do dinner at Seasons 52.
Wednesday: We would spend the first half of the day resting at home, around 12:30ish we would go to Envy Nails on Poplar for pedicures. After that we would head to midtown and go to KnifeBird.
Thursday: We would go to Crosstown and check out the art and stores there. We would grab lunch there. Thursday night we would go to SALT for karaoke.
Friday: We would rest up for the first half. We would check Eventbrite to see what all is going on downtown. We would go to the Peabody Hotel then start plan from there.
Saturday: Brunch at Babalus, a spa visit, we would have dinner at Houston’s
Sunday: Church :), lunch at Sage.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Oh goodness, my community has been a huge part of my success. I could not dare list names because I would hate to miss someone. So I would simply say thank you to my tribe. Each season of my life has brought me new friends, and they have all played a role in helping me to see myself and my gift in a different light.
