Hi Karen, the decisions we make often shape our story in profound ways. What was one of the most difficult decisions you’ve had to make?
Without a doubt, the most difficult decision I’ve had to make was leaving my previous job. I worked at a large company where I had a stable position and enjoyed great bosses. However, I always felt a desire to create something of my own. Deciding between staying in a safe and familiar environment or venturing to start from scratch with my own business was a huge challenge. I started with a lot of fear and uncertainty, but today I can confidently say it was the best decision of my life. The risk and effort have been worth it, and I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to pursue my dream and build something I am truly proud of.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Brunetta Accessories is a colombian jewelry brand, and what sets us apart is our commitment to quality and craftsmanship. Most of our jewelry are handmade by skilled colombian artisans, ensuring each piece is sophisticated and unique. One of the most exciting fetures of our business is our adorable jewelry truck. It provides a unique and engaging shopping experience, allowing customers to explore our collections in a charming and personalized setting.

I am incredibly proud of how far we have come. It has not been an easy journey, but perseverance and consistency have been key to our success. Brunetta has shown me how strong I am and how I’ve overcome numeorus osbtacles, making me a more confident women.

The journey has taught me that everything takes time, dedication, love and commitment. Moreover, I’ve learned that success is not just about the end result but about the passion and effort you put into every step of the process. Building Brunetta has been a labor of love, and seeing the joy our jewelry brings to our customers is incredibly rewarding. This journey has taught me to celebrate every milestone, no matter how small, and to stay committed to my vision and values.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
For me, the best plan is always to visit Nashville. I love it because its a vibrant, fun city with so much to explore.

Day 1:
We’d start with a visit to Broadway, the heart of live music and nightlife in Nahville. Here we can explore numerous bars with live music and enjoy an authentic honky-tonk experience.
Dinner at Hattie B’s Hot chicken to try the famous Nashville hot chicken.

Day 2:
Visit the Country Music Hall of Fame to immerse ourselfs in the history of country music. Lunch at Edlys’ BBQ.

Day 3:
Of course, explore the 12 south avenue, a charming neighborhood full of boutique shops and perfect photo-op murals.
Visit the most adorable jewelry truck, Brunetta Accessories. Here we can take lots of pictures, create and personalize our own necklaces with the charm bar available and enjoy the exclusive Brunetta experience.

Day 4:
Spent the morning at the First art Museum, lunch at Bartaco, a perfect spot for tacos and margaritas and later at Centennial Park

Day5:
Excursion to Cheekwood to enjoy its beautiful gardens and art

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
It all comes down to my family. I especially want to dedicate this recognition to my sister, who has played a crucial role in my success. From the very beginning, she encouraged me to keep going , to not give up, and to get back up whenever I faced obstacles. She helped me feel more confident in myself, always reminding me that growth and perseverance are key. I also want to dedicate this recognition to my husband, who has always been my greatest support, always encouraging me to seek out opportunities and knock on doors. His unconditional support motivated me to grow and expand my business, Without the backing and love of them, I would not have come this far in my business.
