Hi Kanika, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
I have always been a lover of fragrances and take delight in indulging in a variety of scents, both at home and in the workplace. Combining my passion for aromas with the creation of natural products, Ash’ya Creations was established in 2019. My sole objective was to deliver top-notch candles, melts, and all-natural soap to our clientele. My steadfast commitment to excellence has been my driving force from the very beginning and remains so to this day. At the core of my brand lies a dedication to offering the best shopping experience and fostering lasting connections with our treasured customers.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
Crafting candles is truly an art that I take pride in. Through research and experimentation, I have created a unique blend of coconut soy wax and hand-picked fragrance oils. It wasn’t an easy journey, but after a lot of trial and error, I finally found the perfect recipe. Every candle and melt is made with love and pure intentions. I hope that with each customer, I am able to achieve my goal and leave a lasting impression.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
When my closest friend and relatives arrive in October, the initial destination on our list is Culture Canna – not only do I have a passion for candles, but I am also a skilled graphic designer and budtender at this establishment. As I prepare for my wedding reception, I am excited to offer everyone the most incredible cannabis experience. Among the top dining spots in the area that we adore are Snooze’s, Sunflower Cafe, Sunflower Bakeshop, Krustaceans Seafood, and Velvet Taco.
