Meet Justin and Devon Cotton and Neison | Podcaster

We had the good fortune of connecting with Justin and Devon Cotton and Neison and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Justin and Devon, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
Devon and I thought there needed to be a platform and more resources for expecting dads and just dads in general. We wanted to create a community of dads that could rely on each other and reach out to one another for support and help when navigating the dad life.
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
Devon and Justin are two dads just trying to navigate life as a dad as best as they can. Originally our podcast was just going to be discussions between the two of us, but as word reached other dads in the greater Nashville area, dads reached out to us asking if they could come on and talk about their experiences of being a father. Each guest would tell us of other dads they recommended having on the podcast and it has just grown from there.
We have created a community of dads from all aspects of life, where we have dad walks every Saturday morning and just started a “dads night out”. The first dads night out event was at The Putt Shack in downtown Nashville.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Some fun places we would take a friend visiting Nashville would be Cheekwood Botanical Gardens, The Nashville Zoo, Radnor State Park. Nashville has so many great parks where you could spend a full day at each of those parks I mentioned and have a great time with friends and friends who brought their kids to Nashville as well. Arrington Vineyards is another great place where you can spend time with just adults or where you can bring the entire family.
Nashville is more than just the Broadway bars and country music.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
We would like to just give a shoutout to all the dads out there doing their best navigating the dad life. That is why we created this podcast.
