We had the good fortune of connecting with Jordan Moed and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jordan, what’s your definition for success?
Being able to wake up everyday doing what I love to do being with the people I love and being able to travel and see the world when I please!

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
Music is my life, and God gave me this gift to write and inspire through my story and If I can inspire anyone to either believe that no dream is too big or that those hard days will pay off in the long run and there worth getting through, then I’m doing something right. I started my journey playing in a basement to critics, and now 20 years down the line being able to play sold out shows in Nashville and being able to travel the country shredding some rock n roll, proves that if you want it bad enough, like Mark Wahlberg would say in Steel Dragon, “dreams do come true”.

With dream chasing, there will come days where do you think you can keep moving forward, or you taken enough knives in the back, enough road blocks, or never feeling like you amount to anything. These are the days I write, these are the days I have to be my own motivator, my own shoulder to cry on and writing in these moments allows me to use these negative thoughts and turn them into something positive.

Life is hard, but I find the journey of life to beautiful, and I just want to write the soundtrack to it.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Nashville is littered with amazing places, but for me Up/Down is an awesome hang spot. Floors of just arcade games, Bars and ofcourse classic 90’s WWE on the tv. Just a vibe that really gets me happy… also the Mac N Cheese pizza is a must.

My favorite food spot in Nashville is definitely Loveless Cafe. It’s an iconic staple here and know for some of the best home country cooking you can find, bring your appetite cuz you will eat hefty….. and try the biscuits.

If you’re looking for a show, the Exit/IN is my home. One of the most iconic stages in Nashville with so much history. You can catch some awesome local/regional bands here. Heck even me sometimes!

And guilty pleasure is Players Inn, great people, great food and beer and it’s a local joint with that classic Nashville feel. There’s not too many of those places left, so I cherish this spot.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would love to shoutout my beautiful fiance, family and friends who are on this crazy ride with me and get me through the hard times. Also a massive shoutout to all of the fans that allow me to do what I do. It means the absolute world and you have no idea what it does!
