We had the good fortune of connecting with Jeremy Kelley and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jeremy, where are your from? We’d love to hear about how your background has played a role in who you are today?
We are from Knoxville, Tennessee! It’s a very special place to us. My Grandfather aka “Papaw” has lived here his whole life and so have I. We love watching the Tennessee Vols play football as we are huge fans! Being raised in such a beautiful place has had so much inspiration on us. From the way we talk to the way we live. Im very blessed and thankful to have been born in a place like this. Sure Papaw and I have big dreams but I think small town famous just sounds better 🙂

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Being a content creator alongside my Grandfather has been challenging, but the best thing I have ever decided to do. A lot of money has been poured into this, from business cards to free stickers for our fans, to even decorating my Jeep with vinyl and putting our faces all over it. Decorating the Jeep Wrangler was the craziest thing I’ve done, but it made my Grandfather smile, which meant the world to me. With that being said, we have had some rude remarks along the way, but we shake those off to some Taylor Swift.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I would say you got to visit our hometown Halls Crossroads, Knoxville Tennessee. Numerous famous people have lived in this area! From Morgan Wallen to Kenny Chesney. It’s just a friendly small town and the people have been the greatest supporters of our content. Next up you have got to head to downtown market square in Knoxville, Tennessee. There is a bar we like to go to called the scruffy city hall. Every Tuesday night, my Grandfather and I go to the bar to watch free comedy improve from a group called Einstein Simplified. If you like the TV show “Whose line is it anyway” you will love this group, they are hilarious! It’s completely free, but we always tip them at the end of the show. Most importantly, you got to hit up Dollywood in Sevierville, Tennessee.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
When Papaw and J Ray first became a sure thing, we got a lot of inspiration from Ross Smith and his Grandmother. We loved what they did. Having fun, and making memories that last a lifetime became our ultimate goal! I truly appreciate the importance others show when they make content with their Grandparents. The message derived from it is that no matter your age, you’re never too old to enjoy life to its fullest.
