We had the good fortune of connecting with Jake Jones and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jake, every day, we about how much execution matters, but we think ideas matter as well. How did you come up with the idea for your business?
Well, we started a band and a band is a business so I guess we started it by default.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
We started this band because we love writing music, playing shows, and touring. We very proud of the fact that we’ve been able to create something from nothing, take it to as many towns and cities as possible, and have a great time doing it. It’s definitely not been easy. We’ve lost members over the years, lost loved ones, lost jobs, spent countless dollars on van repairs, etc. Those kind of things just come with the territory of being in a touring band. If it were easy, then everyone would do it. One thing we’ve learned during our time as a band is that anything and everything can go wrong in an instant. You just have to step up and solve the problem. You can’t just crawl into a ball and quit. We’ve been a band for nearly 5 years now and we’ve had many ups and downs. We donut because we love it. It’s who we are. We’re just glad that there are people out there that care about what we’re doing.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Knowing us, we’d probably grab a bunch of beers and go get wild in the mountains somewhere then probably end up a punk show at the Brickyard followed by a nightcap at the Stillhouse in Bearden. We’d probably do something like that every day until they left 😂

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Anyone that’s ever booked our band, come to a show, listened to our songs, or picked up some merch from us.
