Meet Giulianna Fernandes | Model & Digital Creator

We had the good fortune of connecting with Giulianna Fernandes and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Giulianna, what is the most important factor behind your success?
Any success that I can claim for myself is a direct result of my love for people and heart posture to make a positive difference in the lives of those I come into contact with. Love is all I’ve got. They will remember that.

My primary focus has never been myself. I have high ambitions and my creative hunger is multifaceted (modeling, writing, content creation, acting, art, etc.) I set goals for myself that I am intentional about reaching through vision, determination and resilience. However, I remove myself from the equation of success, and what drives me the most is the impact I can have on the human beings in the room that my opportunities award me. My creative pursuits brings me joy, they fill my tank, and they put me in a flow state. I wholeheartedly believe that the dance between one’s self and their natural talents or gifts thread together a magnetic layer that draws people in.

As a result, I believe the most important factor for the position I find myself in today is due to the genuine relationships I’ve made along the way both with collaborators and spectators. Everyone is a part of the journey, everyone is a part of the growth. I have many ideas still to fulfill, and thus will continue to show up for the opportunities that present themselves to me, nevertheless, I will continue to ultimately measure any success by the way that I make people feel by doing what I enjoy and my work. Love is all I’ve got, they will remember that.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I consider myself a creative because my heartstrings are pulled for many areas of the industry. It’s important to remember that though Nashville is a big “small town” with lots of talent swimming in the same pools, each individual carries a unique set of skills, looks, posture, attitude, etc to the game. No one can be you, and that is our power right? Therefore, my hope is to elevate my skillset, portfolio and network by continuing to strive to work with photographers and directors that I admire and am inspired by and whom will push me out of my comfort zone where I can grow. I study the art I am working towards and make conscious efforts to keep myself fresh and sharp. If there is not an outlet where I am able to explore a passion, I attempt to create it myself.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I love Nashville with my entire heart and I love to show it off to friends who are visiting for the first time. Though Nashville has a strong cowboy-boot shaped foundation in country and music. I believe there is something to appeal to every person regardless of their interest. To pick just one place to suggest would be near impossible. With that being said, some of my go-to spots to bring new visitors is the Ole Smokey Distillery, the Pharmacy Burger Parlor and Beer Garden, the Ryman Auditorium and the Opryland Hotel. Let’s not forget stopping at the Graduate Hotel to pay respects to our Queen, miss Dolly Parton.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I have found the Nashville Creatives to be an incredibly kind and supportive group. I would love to highlight the community as a whole for applauding each other along the way and making it a safe space to explore, collaborate, and innovate between newcomers and more experienced individuals, I’ve found the community to always be open to suggestions, feedback and full of appreciation for what everyone contributes. I’d also love to shout out all of my loved ones whom have encouraged me to pursue my passions!
