We had the good fortune of connecting with Gabby Rowe and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Gabby, is there a quote or affirmation that’s meaningful to you?
One of my personal favorite affirmations is that no matter what happens, I will choose to offer my best self. Whether it be pushing through from early morning to late night on event day or just answering emails and questions from clients, if I’m putting energy into something, it’s to achieve success and growth in my goals.

What should our readers know about your business?
Between work, attempting to maintain yourself and not to mention, your social life, possibly children in the mix, life is so busy. If you add planning a wedding into the equation, the stress meter goes through the roof. We get it – hence The Busy Bride. We specialize in making the stress surrounding wedding planning disappear and bringing the fun back into it so clients can truly enjoy the day for the special moment it is.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
This is fun! For food, I would personally recommend Monell’s for breakfast, Mas Tacos or Taj for lunch, and O-Ku or Chauhan for dinner! Of course, gotta try hot chicken and BBQ while in town as well. A salted brown butter donut from East Park Donuts is also a must! Shopping in the Gulch and the Fatherland district. A trip to Arrington Vineyards or one of the many breweries and distilleries nearby. Definitely, a day trip outside of Nashville to float the Harpeth in a kayak. Catching a show would be high on the list and there are so many amazing venues to choose from. And of course, some time on Broadway!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Absolutely, so many to recognize! My family for their support and encouragement of this crazy dream of mine – the grandparents that take over with all the love in the world when mom has to go to work, my husband (who I once convinced to hang string lighting at an event for me when a vendor fell through), the list goes on. The vendors who met me for coffee and let me pick their brains when I first decided to start my business. Every single couple that has blessed us with the opportunity to play a key role in their wedding day.
