We had the good fortune of connecting with Earl Bowman and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Earl, why did you decide to pursue a creative path?
I definitely never thought I’d be pursuing music like I am, but now that I’ve started, I don’t think I could do anything else.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I’m inspired a lot by Outlaw Country artists like Waylon Jennings, and while what I do isn’t exactly like Waylon, I’ve always been drawn to the sounds of 70’s Outlaw Country music.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
The best place to catch a show in Louisville is this little listening room called The Monarch. It’s truly a special place and everyone needs to experience a show there.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Katie Didit was one of the first people I met when I decided to start going to open mics back in 2020. If it wasn’t for her encouragement I wouldn’t be making music.
