We had the good fortune of connecting with DWK Event Collective and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi DWK, we’d love for you to start things off by telling us something about your industry that we and others not in the industry might be unaware of?
One thing that most people are not aware of or considering about the event business is the amount of time it takes to plan, create and source the materials. Events are typically custom in one way or another and that customization opens up a fun, new challenge for every job that we do.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
We are most proud/excited about the opportunity that we have to already do a rebrand for DWK! We have worked diligently to get and keep our name out there and none of it has been easy, but our pride is the quality that we provide. We always say, “We aren’t the cheapest, but we are not the most expensive either. However, our quality is top-notch no matter what!”

We have learned that if we do excellent work and our clients see that we go the extra mile for them, then business will come. We are so grateful for each and every client!

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
When in Nashville, go to Nash! We love the White Limozeen, Bourbon Steak, and if you want a little rooftop fun, the Westin, The Bobby, and the Virgin Hotels are awesome too!

If you want to stay in Mufreesboro for a nice dinner, Steakhouse Five and Five Senses are fabulous too!

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Since there are 3 of us, we are all moms and wives, I do think our 3 husbands have been monumental in the support system that they provide for us. We couldn’t do it without them! Big thank you to Josh Persons (Deana’s husband), Anthony Pierce (Whitney’s husband), and Chris Odeneal (Kandi’s husband).
