We had the good fortune of connecting with Dr. Tamara Johnson and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Dr. Tamara, what is the most important factor behind your success?
The key to the success of my brand achievements lies within my unique approach towards understanding and catering to consumer/clients needs and desires, By constantly pushing boundaries through technological advancements as well as incorporating environmentally conscious practices wherever possible. I have managed not only to differentiate myself from competitors but also make strides toward creating long term sustainable growth by way of constantly teaching and learning.

In addition my personal dedication and perseverance doesn’t just stop at delivering tip top service, there are several other components that contribute greatly towards making sure everything runs smoothly day after day. Having an effective market strategy alongside maintaining excellent relationships both internally among employee and clients and externally with partners helps foster organic expansion opportunities which helps me to maintain a successful brand.

What should our readers know about your business?
I am a salon owner with my daughter as my business partner for the last 3 years. We own The Total Woman Hair Salon with our own individual entities within the Empire (TamaraJ Hair Salon and Pristine Hair Collection), I have dedicated myself to providing exceptional service for 29 years to clients and customers. My commitment to my clients is evident in the transformations I create through hairstyling. This is also a mechanism that sets me apart from other hairstylist in my area. I am most proud that most of my clients have become like my extended family. We laugh together, talk together and have even cried together. I am most proud of the bonds we share.

Overcoming challenges such as limited resources and proper tools required perseverance, hard work, and resourcefulness to achieve success in building brand and realizing my dream of becoming a successful. salon owner,

This was not easy but my determination would not allow me to give up.

My journey has taught me valuable lessons about resilience. Every setback can be used as an opportunity for growth rather then defeatism; this mindset guides how I approach obstacles both personally and professionally.

I want the world simply to know that if I can do it so can you!
