Meet Conscious Queen | Student astrologer; Nail tech student; entry level tarot reader

We had the good fortune of connecting with Conscious Queen and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Conscious, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
Well Consciousness is a term that includes the mind. Consciousnails is a name under my brand Conscious Queen, and a part of the beginning of my consciousness was being aware that I needed to start my own business.
Please tell us more about your work. We’d love to hear what sets you apart from others, what you are most proud of or excited about. How did you get to where you are today professionally. Was it easy? If not, how did you overcome the challenges? What are the lessons you’ve learned along the way. What do you want the world to know about you or your brand and story?
Well, it definitely hasn’t been easy. You know, there are sooo many amazing nail artists out here and I feel like the difference is that I’m still learning the craft. There’s still a lot that I haven’t tried that’s trending and that’s the reason why I charge cheaper prices. I charge as a student and I’m not ashamed to tell people that I’m still learning. I have under 200 hours left and this time I want to invest into a really good school that I can be content with what I’m learning. Nothing is worse than spending your money on an education that you feel is not giving you the results that was sought after. Conscious nails is a spiritual brand. I have some ideas that can be injected into the craft of nail art, but I don’t want to disclose them just st yet because I don’t want anyone to steal my ideas! But just know that you can come to my place and get your nails and feet done, and get a tarot reading. Or you may hear me listening to a tarot or astrology video so don’t freak out lol! I will also start having incense and oils for sale as well.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I actually haven’t been out that much since I moved to Jackson almost three years ago but I heard that the Jamaican food is good. Its also a Mediterranean spot on Hollywood, I used to work at Jackson Hewitt next door, and their food is AMAZING!!! As for drinks, I heard the Tabernacle is a pretty cool place but honestly, I hardly have been anywhere..
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Well, my name was inspired by Conjure Queen, a spiritualist that I started watching on YouTube at the beginning of my spiritual journey, so shout out to her for the inspiration. I learned a lot from her.
