Meet Chris Moore | Podcast Producer

We had the good fortune of connecting with Chris Moore and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Chris, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
The most vital factor steering my success journey has been a blend of consistency, openness to learning, facing fears head-on, and an unwavering thirst for improvement. Staying consistent has provided a reliable framework, while being receptive to guidance has allowed me to grow and adapt along the way. Embracing fear has become a catalyst for growth, pushing me beyond comfort zones. The constant pursuit of improvement acts as the compass, propelling me forward. This blend has crafted a smooth path, allowing me to navigate challenges and embrace opportunities, all while striving to evolve and refine my capabilities.
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
Absolutely, working as a podcast producer with the Inflection Network has been an incredibly rewarding journey for me. What sets me apart in this role is my relentless commitment to curating compelling stories that resonate deeply with our listeners. I take pride in my ability to bring forth narratives that captivate and inspire, making each episode a unique experience for our audience.
Getting to this point professionally hasn’t been a walk in the park. Contrary to the typical qualifications outlined for this role, I didn’t follow the conventional path. I lack a college degree and extensive experience, but I’ve compensated with an insatiable hunger to learn, grow, and excel in what I do. I’ve embraced being coachable, which has allowed me to adapt swiftly and learn from every experience, regardless of how challenging it may have been.
Overcoming these challenges wasn’t easy. It demanded persistence, resilience, and an unwavering belief in my potential. Trusting the process has been key—knowing that every setback was an opportunity for growth and learning. It’s taught me that one’s true potential isn’t solely defined by formal education or years of experience. It’s about the drive, work ethic, and the determination to continuously improve.
I want the world to understand that we all possess untapped reservoirs of potential within us. It’s not about where we start or the checkboxes we tick; it’s about the dedication and passion we bring to what we do. I’ve learned firsthand that when you harness that determination, when you remain open to learning, and when you trust in your journey, incredible things can happen. This journey has reaffirmed my belief that with perseverance and an unwavering work ethic, we can surpass any limitations and achieve remarkable success.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Absolutely, if my best friend were visiting for a week-long trip, I’d ensure they experience the best of Memphis.

Day 3: A highlight of the trip would be catching a Memphis Grizzlies game, watching Ja Morant live in person is a must for any basketball fan. After the game, we’d take a stroll and enjoy the lively energy of Beale Street, exploring the music, food, and entertainment it has to offer.
Day 4: Explore the National Civil Rights Museum: Start the day with a visit to the National Civil Rights Museum, immersing ourselves in the powerful history and significant cultural impact of the American civil rights movement. This is the site where Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. was assainated.
Day 5: Stroll through Overton Park and Memphis Zoo: Enjoy a leisurely morning at Overton Park with some coffee from Muggin Coffeehouse (black owned coffee shop in Memohis), known for its vast green spaces, beautiful trails, and the iconic Memphis Brooks Museum of Art. Later, head to the Memphis Zoo within the park.

These additional experiences showcase more of Memphis’ cultural heritage, scenic beauty, and local charm, ensuring a diverse and memorable trip for anyone.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
This success story isn’t just about my efforts; it’s a collaborative triumph. I’m immensely grateful for the support system that has stood by me, making this journey not only achievable but also incredibly fulfilling. Their presence has been a true blessing and an essential part of my story,
I would like to acknowledge the immense effort I’ve put in to reach where I am today. It hasn’t been easy; it’s demanded hard work, sacrifices, and a continuous drive to keep moving forward. At times I’ve been my own cheerleader, pushing myself through the tough times and celebrating every small win along the way.
I also want to express deep appreciation to my wife and a handful of friends who’ve been there, not just as companions but as relentless motivators. Their unwavering support, encouragement, and occasional nudges when I needed them most have been priceless. They’ve played a significant role in keeping me grounded and inspired throughout this journey.
