Meet Caleigh Boyd | Artist

We had the good fortune of connecting with Caleigh Boyd and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Caleigh, putting aside the decision to work for yourself, what other decisions were critical to your success?
I feel as though releasing the fear of failure has greatly benefited me. My journey has become widely centered around self-discovery, resilience, and the pursuit of my own fulfillment. When I freed myself from the weight of others’ opinions, I could begin growing more authentically as an artist.
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
My art creates a visual language that is uniquely mine, I feel like each of my pieces holds a small piece of me. I pour almost all of my emotions into my work and it has not always been easy, but nothing makes me feel more at peace.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If my best friend was visiting, we would absolutely have to do brunch at Buttermilk Ranch for their cubed croissants. After that, we would swing by Garage Sale Vintage to do some thrifting. I would also definitely take her to Centennial Park to see the ducks along with Greenhouse Bar for some charcuterie.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I am only half of Visualized Karma, the other half is made up by my co-creator – the most important person to me. My co-creator is not just a collaborator but a vital part of my creative journey. Their presence infuses our work with shared passion, unique perspectives, and endless inspiration.
