We had the good fortune of connecting with Bobby Blevins and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Bobby, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
I actually didn’t mean to start my own business. I left my job in April 2020 because of covid. A few months later I was bored and started capturing business commercials for local companies. I just never stopped capturing content, because customers kept coming to work with us.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Nolensville Drone Production is more than just capturing drone footage. We help businesses, construction companies, and event planner market their brand. We got third place last year in marketing for the Williamson County Sizzle awards. We got to where we are today because people kept recommending us to others. We don’t spend a lot of money on advertising. It was never easy after four years to become what we are today. We just kept working and working and kept gaining customers who trust us with their brand. Lessons we’ve learned along the way is not all customers can be pleased. Sometimes you have to say no to customers that don’t fit the business model. Hopefully in the end our brand and story can be summed up as we helped as many people as we could and tried to assist the young people in Nolensville with acquiring some experience in media production.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If we were entertaining people from out of town we would probably take them down to fifth and broadway during the daytime and walk around broadway. Then at night go to a rooftop of one of the hotels and overlook the city of Nashville. Opryland Hotel is another one of my go too’s to walk around.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
In 2023, work was very difficult and one local group, “Art Helps Cancer” was very helpful in helping maintain my sanity. This group is led by Elmer Hill and they helped me balance my work and life by attending Art Helps Cancer events. This group helps people dealing with cancer and comforts them.
