We had the good fortune of connecting with Billi Watson and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Billi, why did you decide to pursue a creative path?
Being creative is what brings me happiness and after years of doing something that I didn’t truly love, I decided to pursue something that I felt was purposeful. I worked in the education field for over 15 years and would get small opportunities to be creative but it just wasn’t enough for me. As a creative, I am able to tap into so many of my skills while still helping others, which is absolutely fulfilling. It’s such a beautiful thing to wake up daily and look for inspiration in everything around me. I can honestly say that by pursuing this career path is a dream come true.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
The process of starting Glamher Creative Agency began in 2016 but didn’t come to fruition until 2021. I developed my business to be a boutique creative agency that assists businesses and entrepreneurs leverage digital marketing that connects with their target audience online and in real life. Most small businesses don’t have the budget, time or knowledge to handle their digital marketing needs when starting out. Glamher Creative aims to meet them where they are and give their brand innovative marketing strategies and eye catching content. It’s taken years of trial and error, as well as getting past my own fears, to get the agency where it is today. While it’s been a roller coaster ride of a journey, knowing that my clients trust and believe in my ability to take their brands to the next level is what keeps me moving forward. Glamher Creative Agency is becoming a highly sought out agency throughout the country thanks to my ability to become each clients “marketing bestie.” I align with each client’s vision and take it beyond their biggest dreams.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
While I don’t live in the area, my family and clients do. I would be somewhat of a tourist. I can say that Beale Street is my absolute favorite place. The vibes are unmatched and I haven’t found anywhere like it. Being immersed in the culture and history in Memphis is one of the most amazing things to ever experience.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Everything that I do in life is for my children. They deserve every ounce of credit for being on this journey with me and never complaining. Their support is unmatched and they push me daily to create a dream life for our family. I’m also grateful for my clients that have been with Glamher Creative from the start. Their trust in me to bring their vision to life and the pivotal role I’ve played in shaping their brands means the world to me.
